《Five Parables》 is an installation that projects the artist's own poetry and videos created using AI tools onto a device modeled after vertical tenant signs—a type of media often installed on building facades. Serving as a sequel to “Words Turned Outward,” this work was created with the new concept of gradually materializing a fictional world based on poetry, specifically designed for exhibition in the public space of Shibuya PARCO.

This work marks an attempt to fully integrate AI video generation tools into the creative process. The uncanny, artificial quality inherent in AI-generated video embodies the unreal nature of word combinations found in poetry. A key discovery was that the inherent pixelation of LED screens serves to correct the imperfections of the AI-generated video itself. This combination of media suggests new possibilities for expression.

《5 つのたとえ話》は、ビルの建物の側面などに設置されていることの多い縦型のテナント集合サインと呼ばれるメディアを模して制作した装置に、自身の詩とAI ツールを用いてそれらをもとに制作した映像を映すという作品だ。《外側へ向けられた内なる言葉》の続編に当たる今作では、詩をもとにした架空の世界を少しずつ現実化するという新しコンセプトをもとに、実際に渋谷パルコという公共空間に展示することを前提に制作した。

本作では、AI 映像制作ツールを本格的に作品に用いるという試みをした。AI 動画のもつ不気味な架空性は、詩における言葉の組み合わせの非現実性を体現している。また発見として、LED スクリーンが持つ画質の粗さはAI 動画自体の不完全性を補正する効果を持つ、このメディアの組み合わせは新しい表現の可能性があると考える。
