『Until I Got Here, I Smelled a Bit of Chlorine』 marked our first attempt at a collaborative work. I composed tanka, while my partner wrote poetry. We wove words together, responding to each other's rhythms and sensibilities. This collaboration became the basis for our two-person exhibition. As we wove words together, we dissolved poetry into the subtle memories held by a singular place. Readers become viewers, progressing through the work. The resulting booklet becomes something to take home, like a small device that plays back time and space. We positioned each other's perspectives as “the other,” testing how the gaze of the other resonates within the creation process and gives birth to new forms of poetry.

『ここに来るまで少し、塩素の匂いがした』では、今までしてこなかった合作という試みを行った。私は短歌、相手は詩を用いて制作を行った。互いのリズムや感覚を呼応させながら言葉を綴った。そしてその合作ををもとに二人展を行った。言葉を紡ぎ合わせながら、特異な場所が持つ微細な記憶に詩を溶かし込み、読者は鑑賞者になり、作品を読み進める。制作された冊子は、まるで時間と空間を再生する小さな装置のように、手に持ち帰るもとなる。お互いの視点を“ 他者” として据え、他者の眼差しが制作の中でどのように共鳴し、新たな詩の形を生み出すのかを試みた。
